Tim Higham is a professor at the University of California, Riverside. His research focuses on the functional ecology and biomechanics of reptiles, with an emphasis on geckos.
Tim has spent over a decade working with the geckos of Namibia, including at Gobabeb. Examples of projects include the evolution of gecko morphology, the running performance of geckos on different surfaces, and the movement patterns of geckos in their natural habitat.
In addition, Tim has brought field classes from California to Gobabeb, where students have conducted independent research projects.
