The first participants in Gobabeb's Climate Action for Millennials Programme (CAMP) met in January 2021 for two weeks of intensive, science-based training on climate change issues their causes, and consequences, from international to local scales.
The participants were briefed on larger scale national policy, current strategies and ventures and international commitments to reducing the impacts of climate change.
Each participant developed informative posters to engage with their community, usually secondary school learners, and pass on their knowledge on the causes and consequences of climate change at local and global scales.
